When a couple books a wedding with me one of the first things in my workflow is send a “Getting to Know You” questionnaire. It’s a fun way for me to get to know a little about my Bride and Groom’s before their wedding. I also use the answers given in this form to suggest a few different options for engagement session locations. In Alexa and Jake’s questionnaire I found out that Jake proposed to Alexa near the top of the Las Sendas subdivision in Mesa. It was a evening proposal and they were overlooking the city lights. Romantic, right? So… this location became one of my suggestions engagement photos. They both loved the idea of going back to the proposal spot and I was excited to shoot in a new area of the Valley. The desert in the Springtime does not disappoint, and neither did this sweet couple. Here are a few of my favs from the day. It goes without saying- we had to stay until sunset so we could get a few shots with the city lights in the background! Can’t wait for their wedding next month!
