He knew her as his sister’s best friend. His first impression of her was a very sweet, kind and modest southern girl who was a little scared to fall in love. He was also very impressed by her motivation with her career. It wasn’t until Camille came on a summer family vacation to Mexico that the two of them really hit it off. After the vacation, Camille returned home to Utah and Seth back to AZ. They were not apart for long before Seth flew to visit her in Utah. He initially came for a week, but “missed” his flight home and ended up staying for 3 additional weeks. They spent the extra time camping, hiking and talking for hours around bonfires. They have been dating ever since.
Seth proposed while they were taking photos for a Christmas card. The entire family was present, and were aware of the surprise he had planned. At just the right moment, the family backed away and Seth went down on one knee to ask her to be his wife. She was in complete shock, and happily said “yes!” Here are few of my personal favs from their engagement session:
