It’s Summer here in AZ. That means temperatures above 110 are an everyday occurrences. No one likes to have photos taken in that heat- so the easiest thing to do is head up North. It’s crazy to think the weather and backdrop can change so much with just a two hour drive. Their engagement session was planned for Sedona, and then Meredith emailed me and said they wanted to rent a 4×4 jeep. She asked if I would be ok with a little “unchartered” adventure for their engagement session. I was completely up for it! I love shooting in new locations and traveling around Sedona… who wouldn’t love that. We left in the late afternoon and after an extremely bumpy off road adventure we had a small hike and were able to catch the sun right before dusk at Merry Go Round Rock.
