Brent & Ali – How They Met

Brent and Ali were married in a romantic wedding at Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona. Yet, their love story started in the most unusual of all places: the Maryvale precinct police station in Phoenix. Ali has always had an interest in law enforcement and a few years ago she signed up to do a police ride along with the Phoenix Police Department. She sat quietly in the back of the briefing room waiting for her instructions.

He took Notice

Brent saw her sitting alone in the back of the room and walked up to start a conversation. His small talk was cut short when the sergeant begin the briefing. Once briefing was over, the sergeant asked who would be taking the young lady in the back of the room. Brent suggested one of the other offices, but the Sergeant quickly replied, “No Brent, she’s going with you.” They spent the whole day chatting and getting to know each other. At the end of the shift, Brent gave her his number and suggested that if she ever wanted to ride again- to give him a call. Ali texted him later that night to thank him for the fun evening, and they’ve been talking ever since.

The Proposal

The wedding proposal took place on Christmas Day at Ali’s uncle’s house they. After dinner, the family gathered around the tree to open presents. Once the gift opening was finished, Brent stated there was one more present. Ali’s nephew Cayden walked over and handed Brent a ring box. He got down on one knee and asked Ali to spend forever with him. Be sure to check out their engagement session.
