I spent the afternoon shopping for some new backdrops for newborn photography. I had heard about a place called “fabric by the pound” in Tempe. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the drive, but I had already scoured the nearest Jo-Ann Fabrics store and had not found what I was looking for. This place delivered. Its a “different” sort of place. Very disorganized, fabric strewn everywhere, but loads of cheap fabric. I enjoy a good bargin and was without the kiddos, so I was knee-deep digging around just like the women next to me. Found some great new fabrics at great prices. Totally worth the drive. I also purchased the green and orange shaggy throws here and here. Love the texture and the silky feel, perfect for newborns! Since I was on a roll, I also did a little internet shopping. I am very excited about my newborn posing pillows from TAoPaN! These waterproof pillows will make posing the sleepy babies so much easier. Then, to top it off I found this o-so- adorable hat. Couldn’t pass it up! Can’t wait for my upcoming newborn sessions!
