I was invited to participate in a wedding photography/lighting workshop this past weekend. The workshop was put on by Anne McCarthy of One Fine Day Photography. So, here’s the scoop: Three brides and grooms (real married couples) show up in full on wedding attire and have their pictures taken tons by local photographers. Its like the best scenario ever. They get tons of great “wedding” photos with none of the stress of the actual wedding. Brilliant. Why didn’t I think of this? It had to be a little intimidating for these couples…with so many cameras pointing at them and the sound of so many pictures being taken at once. I learned a lot- and had fun. I think I got a pretty good taste of what it would be like to be a paparazzi.
Oh…one more thing. I just want to point out that we are in the MIDDLE of January right now. Isn’t that weather and sunshine amazing? Jealous? You should be.
