Are they not the cutest couple? I will be photographing Jen and Bobby’s wedding this Spring at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, but they asked to do a beach engagement session in their hometown of San Diego. Did someone say Beach? Ocean?…I am always up for a beach session- so I packed my bags. We started off in the historic Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, and then headed to Mission Beach. When I met Jen and Bobby for the first time at the coffee shop they confessed that they were very nervous. They had never been professionally photographed as a couple, and the anticipation of the photo session was making them a little uneasy. I reassured them that I would direct and pose them in front of the camera, and that engagement sessions are also a great “trial” run for your wedding day. I promised it would be not only easy, but fun. I loved how their images came out. I love the moments we captured and how natural they look in front of the camera. Complete naturals in front of the camera – I tell ya. It’s going to be a blast to photograph on their wedding day!
