I was introduced to the Schroeder Family though our neighbors. They have family photos done every year and this year they decided to venture outside of the “studio setting”. They were a very fun family to shoot. I try to let kids do what they want during the photo session- with just a LITTLE direction. I want to capture them doing things that they would do naturally. Sometimes the perfect family picture is with the 1 year old running away…because that’s what they DO at this age! The kids seemed to have fun with the photos. In fact, when the shoot was over and I was saying goodbye as I walked away- one of the little boys yelled ” I LOVE YOU”! It was so sweet. I smiled the entire way home.
